RB10: History Is Ever Ours For The Reliving
As our countdown to the 10 year anniversary of ROODBLAUW (on April 22) continues, today we take a look back at the third track of that album: History Is Ever Ours For The Reliving.
Here’s us playing the song live at Patronaat, in our hometown Haarlem on November 28, 2010 when we were supporting A Place to Bury Strangers. (At this point, Wouter had joined the band and even though you won’t see him in this video, rest assured he’s on stage, lurking in the dark.)
We got the title of the song from Tod Wodicka’s novel “All Shall Be Well; And All Shall Be Well; And All Manner of Things Shall Be Well“. The song title is obviously not the only thing that book gave us.
We haven’t played this song live in ages. Not sure we ever performed it after releasing BLAUWGEEL. I guess we kind of forgot about this track?
Don’t forget: to celebrate the anniversary of ROODBLAUW, we have a special t-shirt ready for pre-order now.
